Class overview
Kyouko took a deep breath to settle her nerves and had to stop her hands from smoothing her skirt down again. Her boots crunched softly against the frosted moss, the heels sinking in a bit before she adjusted her stride.
“Don’t worry, Kyouko-chan, we won’t let any harm come to you,” Nalin said, his voice a deep rumble as he held out her wand. It looked like a tiny toy in his huge, bullfolk hands and she gave him a bright smile, her twin tails curling. He patted her gently on the head and then hefted his heavy shield and mace.
“I know. You all have protected me for so long, now I can help you!” she said earnestly.
Henry flashed her a peace sign with a grin and Marco looked away to fiddle with his staff. Marco always got embarrassed so easily but Kyouko knew he loved listening to her practicing her songs every night. Seren pushed her way through the brush ahead of them, her face brightening as she jogged over to the group, her cat ears perked up happily and her tail twitching back and forth. She leaned in for a quick hug before getting down business.
“It’s definitely an enemy group,” she said. “Five members with a full mix of front liners, mid range, and supporters. They’ll be tricky to beat but they don’t have Kyouko.”
“True!” Henry agreed. “C’mon, let’s teach these guys that they can’t just do what they want here.”
The point of intercept Seren had scouted was just ahead, a nice clearing that would give them plenty of area to move in. Kyouko took her position behind her friends and waited. It wasn’t long until an eclectic group stumbled into the clearing with none of the matching uniforms her friends had. The newcomers noticed them instantly and they immediately pulled out weapons.
“Why do we always run into cultists?” one of them complained. “And why do they always have hostages?!”
Hostages? Kyouko looked around. Her group hadn’t taken any hostages. And she resented being called a cultist!
Still, just like she had practiced, she began the first steps of her performance, her mana spreading across the clearing in sparkles and phantom music.

Playing Idol
The idol class is one of the easiest classes in the game.
You have 3 buffing songs, one that boosts accuracy, one that boosts damage and one that boosts evasion. Simply use the song that your party needs you to use based on the enemy you're fighting. In most cases, you'll likely up using This is our moment!
Stay here with me is an AoE healing song that can keep your party up over a long fight with decent efficiency if you're healing multiple people.
Mashup is the one way to get more songs active as an Idol without going into other classes. Due to the way songs work, you can only have 1 of them active normally but Mashup lets you ignore this and get your songs up faster for a small mana cost.
