Lineage overview

Contrary to popular belief, Youkai are not the same as Chimera. Rather than being lifeforms that have attained sentience through magical mutations, Youkai were once ambient magic that binded together to form lifeforms. Hailing from the misty isle of Kirara, the Youkai are the rarest race amongst the population of Lyr.

Like Chimera, the Youkai lineages are divided into Sub-Races.

If you paid mana for this ability, you gain Temporary HP equal to 8X. Any Temporary HP from this ability remaining after the encounter conclusion phase is turned back into mana at a ratio of 8 Temporary HP to 1 mana.

You may instead pay HP for this ability. If you do, you gain 1 Temporary Mana for every 8 HP you spend. You cannot spend more HP than you currently have. Any Temporary mana is lost at the encounter conclusion phase.

You may spend a maximum of 3 mana or 24 HP on this ability.

Once you use this ability, you may not use it again until after an encounter conclusion phase.
