Pixies are the diminutive subrace of the Fae, known for their delicate wings and vibrant presence within the forest canopies of Lyr. These tiny flying beings craft their homes in hollowed-out sections of ancient trees, seamlessly blending with the natural environment to remain elusive and hard to spot. Despite their small stature and physical fragility, Pixies possess incredible agility, allowing them to dart through the air with unparalleled grace. Their ability to soar above the battlefield provides them with strategic advantages, enabling them to outmaneuver larger foes and support their allies from above. Pixies embody a carefree spirit, often approaching life with a playful and lighthearted demeanor, taking challenges as they come without the weight of undue seriousness.

Living primarily within Fae communities and scattered throughout the vast forests of Lyr, Pixies maintain an aloof and independent nature, preferring solitude or the company of their kin over the complexities of larger societies. However, their significance transcends their playful exterior, as evidenced by the legendary Pixie Leaflit, a member of the Hero Signum's party that triumphed over the Goddess of Evil, Heira. This historic alliance is immortalized by a statue of the party, the oldest known monument in Lyr, nestled deep within Mt. Merlin.
