Strategy
Landsharks are extremely hard to hit while they are not attacking. They become vulnerable when they leap out to bite, allowing for readied attacks or other reaction attacks to hit them easily.
Because ranged attackers cannot easily do this, they become the easiest target to focus on for Landsharks. If given the option, Landsharks should always aim to attack ranged attackers over melee ones. Landsharks do not provoke opportunity attacks, allowing them to swim past the melee line. Thus if they can reach a ranged attacker and attack them they should do so. Otherwise, they will attack the melee attacker closest to them if already in range and then swim away.
Running this monster
A large group of landsharks is a good challenge for a group of adventurers.
As a note, when a player makes a readied action against the Landshark to hit it when it comes up, the readied attack will go off first.
