Strategy
At the start of the battle, it will leaping strike to the most vulnerable looking target it can safely reach. It will not provoke attacks of opportunity to do so.
Once it’s engaged in combat, it will keep attacking the most vulnerable looking target. It will use slice and dice whenever it can.
Running this monster
The Giant Mantis can cut through unarmored targets extremely quickly if it gets a surprise round. If the party does not have high perception values, then it may be best to not run more than 2 at the same time. If running more than 2, it may be better to forego the stealth part.
Note that the Giant Mantis poses very little threat to an armored target, but it's danger level rises if the party has no armored people.
