Photon Shield

A bracelet that projects a shield of light onto the user’s arm. Activates a projected shield of light onto your arm, which acts as a shield but does not use your hand to wield it allowing you to carry a weapon in it.  Does not stack with other shields and while activated, it is treated as a shield for things with that as requirement.

Mods

• A mods:
  • Quick Activation (20 points): The activation cost is reduced to 0 AP
  • Photon Dome (20 points): Changes the Photon Shield effect to instead project a dome 5ft around you that grants the shield effect to allies against ranged attacks only.  Does not stack with other equipped shields. Does not stack with other “Photon” modifications. May still choose to activate the original effect of Photon Shield.
  • Photon Wall (20 points): Changes the Photon Shield effect to instead to create a stationary wall of light in front of you. This wall disappears when you move. The wall is a 1 way high cover with 20 HP and only allows ranged attacks to pass through it from your side. When you move, the wall is immediately destroyed. Once the wall is destroyed, the shell is expended and ejects from the artifice. May still choose to activate the original effect of Photon Shield.
• B mods:
  • Photon Greatshield (25 points): Increases the Burden to 2 and changes the effect of Photon Shield to a Greatshield instead of a regular shield. Reduces your evasion etc like a Greatshield would. You can deactivate the photon greatshield for 0 RP, but doing so ejects the shell and ends the effect.
