Armor Plates

Can be attached to an armor to increase its guard, but make it bulkier.

Gives the armor they are attached to +1 Guard (and +2 block), but increases the Burden of it by 3.

Attaching it or removing it from an armor takes 10 minutes.

Can be used together with other armor modifications. Can be put on regular clothing, but always requires an armor proficiency to have an effect. While you can wear multiple armor plates, the effect does not stack.

Despite being craftable by an armorsmith, the item cannot be modified during crafting.
