Discern Immunities

You look at a single target and glean what its resistances are until the end of the encounter. When you are about to use an ability with a negative effect that would be passively negated by the target, you become aware of this and may cancel your action.

Does not apply if the target has an active ability that can remove it, such as a paladin’s Paragon of Virtue for example.
